Fresh and Freaky Valentine Fun

Hi there!

I am here to show you some fun Valentine's day projects today, as
a part of the Control Freaks Stampin' Up! only blog tour.  Yay!

You likely arrived via Julie Davison's blog, but if you are going backwards
go ahead and head that way!  Beautiful projects!

I have two things to share with you today.
The first is a Valentine for my hubby:

He is a no-frills kinda man, so I think this is a nice mix of
what he prefers, and what I like!  The new retro fresh line of Stampin'
Up products is SO FUN!  The colors are AWESOME.

I could expire from the love I feel for those two new
tag topper punches also!  Could Stampin' Up make it any easier
to make extra cute things?!?

The sentiment is from the new photopolymer set,Countless Sayings 2.

I like mixing in Bermuda Bay with the colors
in the Retro Fresh paper, just for funsies.

Next I have a little door hanger for my babies:

I made this using my Heart Framelits, as well as more
of the same Retro Fresh paper...threw in some fun
washi tape, and ruffled Coastal Cabana ribbon.
Crushed Curry chevron ribbon for a handle and we're in business!

I did use jumbo eyelets on the sides,as knowing me I will
load this baby with all kinds of fun things for them
the morning of the 14th!  What a fun surprise hanging on their door!

I took some pictures of how I made this, so if you would like to
see how I put it together feel free to subscribe (enter your email
on the right sidebar of my blog) so you won't
miss the tutorial.

Hope you liked my projects!!  Follow the link to the
oh-so-fabulous Mary's freaky projects!
Have a great day :)

Love how you coordinated the DSP for both projects! That particular design works so well with the items you used to layer your projects!
