Happy February!

I thought I would start February off right with a long overdue blog post. . .

Hope this month finds you well and happy!

As for me, I find myself in a new (temporary) home, as I sold my house.
Against all odds, although not so very surprising to me. I adore that house, and there had been so much love and happiness there. . .someone was bound to feel it :)

Speaking of love. . .Valentine's day is right around the corner!

This is one of the projects we are making in my Valentine's Day class this coming Saturday. I am so loving these new toys from the Occasions Mini Catalog!

If you don't have one, contact me IMMEDIATELY and we will fix the problem!

My posterboard didn't survive the move, so until I pick up more you get to see my lovely fingernail in the photo :)

However, the background is the original maple woodwork from when this home was built in 1892, so that is a treat! I will share more about the house in another post. . .

We are making seven projects on this day, plus you will be getting the stamp set to keep. It will be mounted and ready for use upon your arrival!

This class going to be held in conjunction with my first ever all day crop.

Create a Calendar

This was super fun to make!

I added the chipboard, rather than the pocket. . .for me, I thought it would be more functional if I could prop it up on my desk. . . someone on SCS had the idea to put pictures on the bottom rather than the dates, so I may end up doing that also!

I used the stamp set Holiday Blitz to add to the pages, as well as other sets that caught my eye. Class details are in the previous post. . .

I like it when you get to go home with lots of "stuff", so prepare to get a bunch! We are using the Tart and Tangy stamp set from the Holiday mini, 1/2 package of Summer Picnic DP, and a full package of note cards (20 including envelopes) from the Catalog. You take home *all* the extras!

If you attend my class, I will give you free shipping on any coordinating products!!!

We will be making eight projects using a stamp set you get to take home! Your stamps will be mounted and ready for use when you arrive. We will be using Double Line Doodles, from the new Fall Winter Collection! All you need bring are scissors, adhesive, and your enthusiasm.

February Class Schedule

Valentine's Day Mailbox Class:

Where: The Book Shoppe (I can give directions to all who have never been there)

When: Saturday, February 3rd at 10am

Cost: $15 for the first mailbox, $7 for each additional mailbox

R.S.V.P. Wednesday, January 31st

We will be decorating a tin mailbox (~3.5in x 5in) and making five projects to go inside. The perfect gift item for your child/grandchild/niece/nephew/etc., or make yourself one for your desk or decoration! The goodies inside will be great inspiration for your valentines for school, or for handing out to family and friends. There will be an assortment of paper there for you to choose from, so you can personalize your gift to yourself or someone you care about! I have a limited number of mailboxes, so R.S.V.P. right away if you want in.

Stamp Camp:

When: Monday, February 12th, 6pm

We will be making three cards using the latest stamps and accessories. I will be demonstrating the use of a particular tool (at this camp) that will help you with perfect placement of your stamps EVERY TIME! Let's have a cup of coffee and make beautiful cards.

Designer Label Punch Box:

When: Saturday February 17th, 10am

If you place a ten dollar order with your registration to this class, I will get you a Sell-a-Bration set FREE. (Don't ask me why, other than I lub u guys :) I always have a door prize at these, so you could potentially get TWO free sets.

You will get the label punch box, and six projects. The punch box consists of the designer label punch, six stamps that coordinate, three ink spots (1x1 mini ink pads) perfect for inking these stamps, and a super cute tin to keep everything in. . .plus the projects! I will also make an assortment of things for you to check out using the punch box.
