Okay, so having to work on your birthday is not ideal. . . but is stamping really work???
I spent a good part of my birthday at my Doodle That workshop, and we had lots of fun! The girls had brought cake, and gifts. I got some amazing cards that I plan on putting on here in the next day or so. Thanks for that, ladies! I feel special :)
I also had plans for that night with a couple of friends that weren't at the class. We went to a martini bar! It was VERY fun. I also love to dance, so any night that ends in dancing is a good night :) But, alas, Stampin' Up doesn't have any martini glass stamps. Soooo, I have made my first Non-Stampin' Up purchase since I became a demonstrator *sigh* I have broken down. . . but look at what I made :)
Stamps: just johanna (margarita glass, sentiment), on the spot (SU!); paper: pink passion, bblack, wwhite; ink: stazon, pink passion, versamark; other stuff: ribbon-a non su gift from my friend Nancy for my birthday (thanks Nancy :), designer label punch, circle punches, hand held rectangle punch
This is another card adventure. . .
Miriam, Molly and I made these for Amanda's baby shower. She is a horse lover, so we just *had* to make a baby cowgirl! This was done by inking the cowboy hat with black marker, then masking/stamping the baby. There was some detail work with the marker afterward, but nothing too overwhelming.
Here's the deets: Paisley bg, baby firsts, hot to dot wheel; paper:Pretty in pink, choc chip, whisper white; ink: versamark, black stazon; sponges, blender pens, markers, sewing machine, hemp twine, pink grograin, 1/16 handheld punch.
