The perfect contents? I'm tempted to say chocolate--so I'd include some chocolate. But I'd also like a little memory book--or even memories written on scraps of paper--and things that you love about your friend. I'd love to receive something like that.

Love your blog!

I think you should put fall themed ribbon, stickles, glitter, buttons and brads in your friendship box! Awesome candy, thank you for entering me!

How about different colored M&M's to represent each season? Chocolate is always something someone will appreciate!

Thanks for offering blog candy!

Fall-wrapped kisses or other chocolates would be cute in your friendship box. They are such cute little packages! Thanks for the chance at some great candy :)

Your friendship gift holder has compartments, and would be perfect for an assortment of small gifts, such as teas, bath accessories, chocolate, maybe a small candle, etc. I love the idea of giving a variety of coordinated items! :o)

I think you should put things that play off the season of the trees on the panels. Like maybe Hot Chocolate for the winter, Candy Corn for the Fall, Lemonade for the summer and maybe those yummy marshmallow peeps for spring. Just a thought.

Thanks for sharing all the cute ideas and the great candy that's up for grabs!

Well, since I am addicted to chocolate these days, I say CHOCOLATE!!!

I would put a different kind of candy for each of the seasons, like candy corn for fall, candy canes for winter, easter eggs for spring and fruit flavored candies for summer!! I love your blog by the way! The friendship box is sooo beautiful!

How about some handmade and stamped stationery. Then your friend would not only think of you as she shared her gift with yet another friend, but you might be the friend she shares it with! Talk about a circle of fun! That box could keep on giving forever. Thanks for the design and the tutorial. I don't know how I missed it the first time. I have it tagged now, though! Linda Crowder

Fall or winter theme - snowmen would be really cute and of course a little chocolate! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Robin, I think your friendship box would be cute with different things in each compartment. If it's for a stamper: glitter, brads, glue sticks, a couple small stamps, chocolate etc. If not a stamper, sample bottles of a nice shampoo & conditioner, chocolate, a lil box of 3x3 gift cards, chocolate, post a note holder, chocolate, microbeaded pen & ohhhh, did I mention chocolate?!
:)

First thought - friends always love chocolate!

Robin, all of the ideas I've read are great for your friendship box!! However, the ultimate friendship box would include some pretty little Godiva chocolates and maybe a little sparkling diamond (my favorite color is clear) or gemstone friendship ring or charm. That would be great fun!!! If thats too much lol.. some Godiva and a Spa card for a friends afternoon of pedi's would be grand. I love your ideas by the way!!

I love your blog and what great blog candy. I love getting your ideas and seeing your inspiration. Thanks!!!

Your friendship box is BEAUTIFUL! I love that stamp set. I think you should put cndy in it if you display it and if you are giving it away as a gift maybe some fun stuff to do in the different seasons...hot chocolate (with candy cane as a stir stick, marshmallows) for winter, gift card for icecream for summer, a small little potted flower for spring, and fall...maybe something to help you relax or a camera to take pictures of the beautiful change in leaves etc.

Crossing my fingers for blog candy! Thanks for all your inspiration. Maria

First, I would put in chocolate, of course. M&M's is always a favorite. 3x3 cards are great too. Some small lotion bottles. My friends and I are into Sudoku and crosswords. So one of those little books or those could be made too. Or a dip mix(es) or seasoning mix.

Robin: I think you should put your friendship box on your table (or next to your computer) and every day from November 1st until Thanksgiving you write the name of a friend on a piece of paper and toss it in your friendship box. Then on Thanksgiving evening you could open each of the pieces of paper up and re-read all those entries.

I know you are blessed beyond words with many friends and I for one would LOVE to see a picture of your friendship box with all the OVER-FILLED names you would toss in there.

Count me in for the blog candy! Kadie

Oh, I think it needs some little bath things - bubble bath, lotion, lip stuff, good smelling stuff (a little chocolate)! It's a very cool project.

Thanksgiving napkins, spiced cider mix, dip mix and spreader

Hmmm...I like the idea of putting seasonally colored candy in each of the pockets (obviously matching the correct season)! :) If it was for a card maker you could possibly buy the stamp set for them, split the stamps up accordingly, putting the tree and sentiment into another little package and then add some embellishments with the certain seasonal colors! Just a thought though! Anyway, thanks for the chance to win! I am actually in dire need of new ink pads in those two colors and I adore that stamp set!

Since this is a friendship box I would like to see you share some time with our friend so I would include a chick movie, popcorn and a sweet treat to share like Milk Duds and have a girls night in.

Chocolate or a handmade bracelet...

Chocolate would be perfert for it but you need the candy that has the colors of the season to fit with the color scheme. You do great work and I love checking out your blog everyday to see what else you have made.

mmmm...chocolate! Maybe hot chocolate for Winter! Yum!

Pick me, pick me, pick me! LOL

Okay, perfect contents of a friendship basket...Chocolate, of course! No self respecting mom would accept anything less (unless it was stamp and scrap stuff), but we need chocolate to sustain our souls some days!

My first thought was chocolate; my greatest weakness. I think wrapped chocolates of some kind in one compartment, maybe Doves with the nice messages inside and things that are geared to that friends hobbies whether sewing, cooking, stamping or gourment coffees. What a fun idea! jmniffer

I would love to get something like this with seasonal treats in each compartment, includine some teas to represent each season. Mix that with a small sampling of ribbon and other embellishments that would go well with that season. Thanks for sharing so many great ideas!

Arian said...

I think you should put chocolates (whatever the friends' favorite is!) and maybe some fun flavored teas. The tea could be brewed either hot or cold, depending on the season! :)

Nice, blog candy. Looks awesome.

Chcolate and flavored teas in season flavors for sure! It is such a cute box! Thanks for the opportunity to win. You rock!

Hi Robin ~ It's always fun to look over your BLOG ~ I like how you not only include awesome SU projects & ideas, but you also share a part of you (family!). The box is adorable (LOVE Fall & that stamp set is perfect!). I've read through all the comments ~ what great ideas! Since you are calling it a "FRIENDSHIP BOX", how about including an item that start with each letter in "FRIEND"??
F is for Flower Fusion
R is for Riding Hood Red (any)
I is for Iridescent Ice
E is for Envelopes
N is for the Neighborhood Wheel
D is for Dimensionals

Looking forward to our next MI Mingle in March 2009!! Gayle

What a fun friendship box! I LOVE to stamp and create cards in every season, so if this adorable box was for me, it would have to be filled with fun stamping items...like bold, brightly colored ribbon for Summer, dazzling diamonds and cute snowmen or snowflake stamps for a glittery Winter, pastel primas and brads or buttons for Spring, and earth elements markers or ink pads for Fall. Add a few chocolate kisses and some herbal tea, and you've got the perfect gift!
Thanks for this chance to win sweet candy!

I would have to say packets of hot chocolate, some tea bags, a little small journal that fits in a purse. A small photo album of you and your friend together. Here is a question to you, is the blog candy only for people who live in the US?? If so count me out :(!

Wonderful blog candy! If the box was for a stamping friend I would put in some Primas, stickles and ribbons! For a non-stamping friend I would put in some hand created cards that everyone would love to get!

All different kinds of chocolate would be awesome!!!

This time of year is always so stressful. A nice bag of bath salts or other relaxing bath product is always a nice thing to give someone this time of year. Or some other "self care" product. Especially for moms who are always taking care of others and least of all themselves! As I'm sure you know!! :-)

Beautiful box, I'd put in earrings, chocolate, a Starbucks card, chap stick, perfume samples, votive candle.

Peanut M&Ms would be a nice additional to the box. A few cards you have made tied together with ribbon.

I think that one of the perfect contents would be definately some chocolate, caramels, and something to "pamper" her, weither it be a gift card to get a pedi or a massage, and also a handmade necklace or bracelet. Along with a handmade card also.

Robyn

PS: your blog is great!

Personally I would love some little cards that fit inside that contain scripture references to friendship.

I think that the perfect thing for your friendship box would be to put "friendship" coupons inside. One could be for a tea time, or coffee break, make lunch of their choice, etc..
It could easily be personalized to what your friend likes, and it would guarantee time for you to spend together.

LorieR said...

Perfect would depend on who is the recipient, right? I'll assume she's a lover of all things bling. One item in each section: Stickles, Stardust Pen, Adhesive Rhinestones & Glitter. Ooohhh, how I'd love that! Thanks for the chance.

Anonymous said...

Well, other than the obvious (chocolate!) - maybe some small note cards with seasonal themes? So a few each of spring, summer, winter, and fall (set of 12). Then of course - some more chocolate! ;)

Thanks for the blog candy giveaway! Very nice!!

I think you should put different embellishments---brads, Primas, eyelets, dew drops, etc. By the way, your friendship box is absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for always inspiring!

Perfect contents..would have to include some chocolate, maybe a good book or stamping magazine, some photos in a mini album or a mini album to make for yourself kit.
Some quote magnets on friendship would be great too.

I guess I wil go along withthe croud .. since I am drinking my coffee for the night and wanting some myself .. I would say to put in different varities of dove or other brand of chocolates. Another idea would be some trial size sets of soaps, shower gels, lotions, lip gloss from bath and body works? It is such a beautiful project you could really fill it with anything!
Thanks for the chance to win some candy. Your work is amazing .. glad I stumbled upon your blog :)
